Palacio de Lopez

The Palacio de Lopez was built by the architect Urdapilleta as the residence of the then President, Marshall Francisco Solano Lopez.

Construction started in 1857 and was not finished by the time of the War of the Triple Alliance; it was finished in 1892.

It now houses the offices of the Presidency of the Republic.
